I’m the last person to be a lover of a Traditional Wedding but after meeting with Kaitlan and her fiance Robert I couldn’t imagine anything less. Her fiery red hair lent itself to the inspiration of color for this traditional wedding in what else but red, black, white and neutrals. The most traditional weddings have this color palate as the focus and we did not disappoint.
Kaitlan was one of those brides that knew exactly what she wanted for this traditional wedding. She wanted a very simple cake with a rose as the accent. Her tables to be white with only a touch of red which we accomplishes with the font on the stationary designed by her brother… and he did fabulous job if I do say so myself. The printing was done by none other than DM Paper Designs. The floral for this very traditional wedding was created by Sue Bain of Signature Florals.
This wedding was very special to me because Kaitlan and I actually went to college together studying Public relations. I had a focus on event PR so we had a few classes together. She went on to work for the Chamber of Commerce where she found out that I had a wedding planning company. She wanted me to design her wedding so much so that she didn’t care that I had a wedding scheduled on her date. She insisted in having me do the planning up until the date and my assistant to take over from there. This was such a compliment to me and I was more than happy to be a part of this traditional wedding with such elegance. Thank you Kaitlan and Robert. Your wedding was beautiful and I’m so glad you were able to teach me that a traditional wedding can be just as amazing as any other.
