Elysia and Amar

Elysia and Amar Ramasar are such a sweet and graceful couple. Amar, being a principal dancer for the New York City Ballet Company and Elysia being a ballet dancer in New York as well, they were very busy during the planning of their wedding. I had the pleasure of planning the majority of the wedding with Elysia’s mother whom had a clear idea of what her daughter imagined for her day. As soon as I walked onto the venue location I fell in love with the blank canvas I had to work with. Clam Pass Park in Naples FL was nestled right on the shore with a green lawn and a small bridge connecting you to the shore. That’s it. That’s what I loved. We went for a pretty in pink victorian garden party. We brought in fabulous linens to compliment the antique saucers that adorned each place setting (a collection I began the minute Elysia booked me). I was able to find a gorgeous victorian couch for the sitting area on craigslist only a week before the wedding which we kept as a surprise for the bride. The floral was abundant with creams, pinks and corals. The food was all comfort food to tie in with the location yet it was presented with such beauty that the parmesan truffle fries hardly looked like fries at all. The food was amazing as was the chinese wish lanterns with all of the guests on the beach and the beautiful sparkler send off. There were so very many elements to this wedding that you just have to see… “It was magical” said the bride. Photography by Erin Baiano Photography of NY (whom was a dream to work with)
